Africa's Frist Woman

Beverly Johnson was born in Buffalo, New York in 1952. She is the first African American model to grace the cover of Vogue Magazine in 1974. She also became the  First black woman to appear in the French Magazine Elle in 1975. New York Times named Beverly one of the 20th influential people in fashion.
