I want to commend Ya Jama Jack for this brilliant article. Incase you don't know the whole story about her writing this response, I will give you a brief recap of the whole story. Momodou Sabally who Gambians call The Gambia's Pen wrote an article on Monday on the daily observer title "A Message for self-preservation and empowerment". An article that was written with the intention to promote women's empowerment ended with bluntly degrading women. I had to re-read twice to actually try and an understand the essences of the letter in the first place he kept contradicting himself.
